SDCFOA President's Message

To My Fellow Officials

It is truly an honor to be able to serve such an outstanding organization as the SDCFOA. This is an organization that continues to excel while never losing our sense of priority. We are a family of officials with one common passion — football! And while this is a family and association that we love, it is good to see that we never lose sight of our number one priority, our families and loved ones at home. Be sure to keep this close to your heart always, for time with family and friends is a precious blessing.

At the same time, we have been given the incredible opportunity to be a part of a wonderful association with a great history. Through hard work and sacrifice, this association has produced many high quality officials who have worked Super Bowls, NCAA National Championships, High School State Championships and much more. Our goal this year is to continue that fine tradition. To that end, I hope you are putting in the work necessary to accomplish this. The rule book, case book and mechanics manual should all be your good friends! Don't ever let them feel lonely! Film study is invaluable. Exercise is a must. Do your part to be prepared for a fantastic 2011 football season. Help keep this the finest football officiating association in all the land! I look forward to seeing each of you throughout the coming season. I am honored and humbled to be counted a part of your football family.
