SDCFOA President's Message

Fellow Officials,

I would like to welcome you all to the SDCFOA official website. I hope everyone is taking advantage of the offseason to spend some quality time with your families and loved ones. As we all know, without their support we wouldn't be able to pursue this passion we have for officiating football.

The SDCFOA has a long history of producing top quality football officials that work at all levels from Pop Warner/Youth to the NFL. Our goal this year is to continue that tradition. In order for this to happen, I ask all of you to start preparing physically and mentally for the upcoming season (i.e. start a study group, start and maintain a workout program, review film, read the Rule Book, read the Case Book, ask questions to fellow officials, access football officiating on-line forums, etc.) We, the SDCFOA, will then provide you with another outstanding instructional program that will include video review, rules review, case book review, mechanics and rules exams, a referee mechanic workshop, and on-field clinics & scrimmages, etc.

Together, let's make a great Association greater.
