BCS Championship Game Official
January 2006

Mike Mothershed is a long-time member of SDCFOA, but is has more recently had a successful career as a field judge in the Pac-10 Conference. He was assigned to that position back in January as a member of the Pac-10 crew that worked the 2007 BCS Championship Game between Florida and Ohio State.

California State CIF Football Championship Officials
December 2006

Danny Short, Steve Coover & Dick Brockett were selected to be in the group of 21 officials statewide to work the first California State CIF Football Championship since 1927. The Div. I, II & III games were played at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA on December 17, 2006. The attached picture shows the seven officials assigned to work the Div. II game between Orange Lutheran H.S. & Palo Alto H.S. All three SDCFOA officials were on this crew.
